Woke up after Shane went to work. I called Hotwire to figure out what the problem was they emailed us about. Turns out China Eastern Airlines changed the flight from Osaka to Shanghai, making our layover time shorter, creating a possibility of missed connection on our way home. I told the call center dude that if we needed on switch days then we'd rather go home a day early than a day later. They put me on hold to try to contact China Eastern Airlines and determine our options but they were unable to get ahold of anyone so Hotwire said they said they'll work on it and call us back.

We had a lazy morning, then headed out to get more money from the ATM. We went to the mall and bought some clothes, had to check out the pet store though. Mat feels like he's coming down with a cold so we decide to forgo the shortened Kumano Kodo and just hang around Shane's place and Osaka for the next few days. We went back to Shane's place to relax, Mat playing video games while I did laundry and read and napped. I had some bouts of diarrhea and Mat with his head cold. We brought enough meds for all this but they were all in our luggage. Shane came home. We went to the drug store for some meds then to the grocery store. We dropped everything off at his place then headed to Jolly Pasta restaurant near his house for dinner. After dinner, more relaxing and video games at Shane's place.
