Woke up, Shane fed us breakfast, then we headed out to the post office to withdraw some cash from the ATM but first, we stopped at one of Shane's favorite coffee shop, a lovely little shop that roasted it's own beans and made fantastic espressos. I got a green tea latte which was delicious. After getting our money, we stopped by the dollar store to pick up a few things we needed without our luggage. We hit up the mall next, stopping by Mont-Bell store. It was there that we got an email saying they found our luggage. They wouldn't say if it was still in Shanghai or in Osaka, they just wanted our address to send it to; they couldn't tell us when we'd get it either. So we grabbed a few clothing items to tie us over anyways. We were all hungry so we hit up a ramen house, which was delicious!

Matcha latte... yum!
After ramen, we went back to Shane's house to change and get ready for Shane's students English speaking contest. It was not school sponsored so not very formal. Shane was invited by another English teacher that taught kids from ages 6 to 15. It was very cute. Shane performed a song, John Denver''s Country Road, and then played a game with the kids. At the end, the teacher honored us with a little gift bags, which was so sweet, and parents wanted their kid's photo with us. Definitely getting some celebrity treatment!

The teacher's family gave us a ride to the train station and we caught the train back to Shane's place. Mat stayed to play some video games while Shane and I hit up the grocery store and drug store. We passed by a cheap takoyaki place and brought a bunch home for dinner, still full from our big ramen lunches. The boys played video games until late in the night, getting to bed at midnight.
