Toad River, BC —> Whitehorse, YK [474 miles]
Made it to Whitehorse today! Good roads today, mostly clear, only a few areas of packed snow. Saw lots of wildlife today. Saw a few herd of wood bison, multiple caribou herds, a mink or marten, and a couple of red foxes! Got lots of photos. Barley just watched and snorted at the wood bison but did start barking at the caribou since they ran from the car. The fox, his eyes bulged so far out of his head, I’d never seen so much white of his eyes! He didn’t bark though.

Weather was great today, too; partly cloudy with temps between 2˚F to 31˚F as we drove along. We made into Whitehorse after dark, had dinner at Boston Pizza Co. Terrible pizza and even worse cider. Canadian cider looks and tastes like wine coolers, it was traumatizing. We’ll reach Tok, Alaska tomorrow!
