Woke up without an alarm, packed our bags, and headed to the airport and through security in with time to spare. We ate some breakfast then boarded the plane. Once on the plane, apparently there was a backing up of air traffic taking off. We sat on the tarmac for two hours before we were allowed to take off. The ironic thing was we spent all that time changing our flight out of Osaka, leaving a day early, to not miss the connecting flight but now the connecting flight is two hours late. At least it was a quick nine hour flight once we were airborne and we made up a little bit of time. Good for us because we had to make a connection flight in Seattle to Anchorage. The connection flight was good. Unfortunately the flight from Seattle to Anchorage was overbooked so we were assigned to different rows. I was nodding off the entire time. We landed in Anchorage no problem. We grabbed a taxi and got to our car, started it no problem. We drove to Eagle River, picked up Barley, and got home to sleep until 7PM. It was a great trip, we had a fabulous time!
