Did a slow 5 mile walk without my brace. There was elevation gain but on a road, so the grade was quite gentle. Although I could feel my hip by the end of it, I wouldn't say I was in pain. I do notice that it is more painful for me to walk uphill than downhill. But I also noted if I concentrate on walking with my pelvis thrusted as far forward as I can, there is less pain. I noticed that my pelvis is naturally forward when I walk downhill but that I slightly bend forward when walking uphill, which may be why walking uphill is more painful. If I walk uphill with my pelvis thrusted forward, there is less pain.
