June 24, 2021 - Two years post-surgery

Well, it's been two years since my FAI surgery and I am thrilled to say my hip is back to normal. I don't even think about it anymore! We thru-hiked the Arizona Trail this spring and I was back to my normal mid-20-mile days without issue. We even did a 30-mile day just to see if my hip could handle it. It did fine! (Although I don't plan on doing 30 mile days if I can help it; to taxing on the body!) After the Arizona Trail, we busted out another 400 miles of the Hayduke trail that we started back in 2014. Now we are on our way to Glacier National Park to start our Pacific Northwest Trail hike tomorrow. So, safe to say everything is back on track and I couldn't be more pleased. Can't wait to go skiing this winter!
