September 24, 2019 - Third post-op appointment with surgeon

Saw my surgeon again today. I'm three months post-op and my strength is really starting to come back. Walking and driving are absolutely not an issue anymore. In physical therapy, I'm doing one-legged squats and we've started integrating impact exercises including jumping and running on an anti-gravity treadmill for about 5 mins. I'm currently running at 80% of my body weight with the goal of reaching 100% body weight (no anti-gravity assistance) before I finish PT in the next few weeks.

Dr. Hagen gave me a "Return to Running" program where I progressively increase the amount of time I spend running over the course of a few months to increase my bone density. I'll implement it once I'm off the anti-gravity assistance. Everything is coming along and I head back to work next month!
